- that is sourced NOT from the Danish Agricultural and Food Council, but from the book by Tristram Stuart
“WASTE – Uncovering The Global Food Scandal”.

The numbers from the Danish Agricultural and Food Council are as following:

- Every year the average Dane throws away 63 kilograms of good edible food away.
- 680.000 tonnes of good edible food is being thrown away in Denmark every year.
