About Project Plastic Bags
The Plastic Bag 2009 International report is a collaborative project developed by the Global Environmental Journalism Initiative.
We welcome comments, new information, leads, images or corrections.
Those involved in the project included students and staff at UTS in Sydney, Monash in Melbourne , City in London and Hong Kong Baptist University in Hong Kong, China.
A key part of the project was a survey of supermarket customers’ use of plastic bags in Sydney, Melbourne, Hong Kong and London in the last weeks of March 2009.
